Historically,the early nineties was seen as well cultured era with least crimes and criminalities due to it's serenity and traditional norms that stood as a barrier against those who are contemplating crimes against fellow humans in the then societies . Little did we know about the crimes carried out as it was way difficult to keep records of what transpired in those era as most of the records are hardcopies and are subject to change which might cause damages or loss to some or all documents. Ironically the ancient Benin kingdom was able to keep records of certain criminalities carried out in their society. The picture debits the first set of armed robbers to be caught in the ancient city of Benin and their crimes was a criminal case involving burgla ry.
